Did you know

Every year, 6.5 million dogs, cats, and other former pets are abandoned or lost and enter shelters. But of all these animals, only 3.2 million are adopted and many see shelters again after less than a year of finding a new home. Deciding to adopt a pet is an enormous responsibility.
Surrender
SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN IN LIFE THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. CHANGING FINANCIAL SITUATIONS, RELATIONSHIPS, LIVING ARRANGEMENTS, AND MANY OTHER UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES CAN CAUSE SOMEONE TO NEED TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR ANIMAL.

THERE ARE ALSO ANIMALS WHO HAVE BEHAVIOURAL OR MEDICAL ISSUES THAT THE CURRENT OWNER IS NOT PREPARED FOR. IN SOME CASES, THE ALTERNATIVE TO SURRENDERING AN ANIMAL IS EUTHANASIA.

SURRENDERING ALLOWS YOUR PET TO RECEIVE THE CARE THAT IT NEEDS AND A FRESH START.
Rehabilitation
We are dedicated to stepping up our Rehabilitation efforts, which is by no means an easy feat. But through cooperation and community involvement, we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
